THESE WORDS I AM COMMANDING YOU TODAY ARE TO BE UPON YOUR HEARTS. AND YOU SHALL TEACH THEM DILIGENTLY TO YOUR CHILDREN AND SPEAK OF THEM WHEN YOU SIT IN YOUR HOUSE AND WHEN YOU WALK ALONG THE ROAD, WHEN YOU LIE DOWN AND WHEN YOU GET UP. – DEUTERONOMY 6:6-7

PARTNERING WITH PARENTS

TO MAKE DISCIPLES

Because we believe that Scripture is clear that parents are the primary disciple-makers in the lives of their children, our hope is to partner with parents in their pursuit of this mission, coming alongside them in the discipleship process.

FAMILY DISCIPLESHIP

Family Worship

We encourage families to worship together during our weekend services. This is especially true for middle school and high school students, as we hope to integrate them into the life of the church where they can live out our mission with their parents and other adults.

Time, Moments and Milestones

As a way to come alongside parents and help them live out their call to make disciples of their children, we’ve created a framework for family discipleship: time, moments and milestones. This language provides a clear philosophy and strategy for discipleship in the home, encouraging and empowering parents to raise up a new generation of believers within our church.

Our partners at MinistryToParents.com have developed annual "Family Experiences", to aid you as you disciple your child and encourage their relationship with God.  Check them out by clicking the links below:

NURSERY AND ALLEYTWO'S (birth-2yrs)

Nursery: During 9:00am and 10:45am Services

In our Nursery ministry, we strive to create the first building blocks of a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children. We teach from the Scriptures and help parents proclaim to their kids who God is and what He has done in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to provide a safe, comfortable and nurturing environment for your child and we want you to feel secure about your child’s well-being while you attend services and activities at theAlley.

alleykids (ages 3-5th grade)

In our grade school ministry, we work to continue building up a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children. We do this by teaching our kids about the nature and character of God—that He is wise, generous, loving and good. Our hope is to partner with parents in the discipleship of their children by creating environments, curriculum and resources that center on the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We love kids and it’s our calling to guide and teach them as they grow to Follow Jesus and Live Love. We believe that EVERY HOME IS A CHURCH and we want to equip both parents and children to love and learn the Word together.

ALLEYKIDS: Sunday Mornings

During the school year, AlleyKids (age 3 – Grade 5) meet in age specific classes during our 9am service. Children will be dismissed to their classrooms after the music. (important note: children must be potty trained before they can participate in our AlleyKids classrooms). ALLEYtwos, our class for 2 year olds, is also available at the 9am service.

Curriculum: The Gospel Project for Kids

The Gospel Project® for Kids immerses kids and preschoolers in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. Ultimately, the gospel message changes everything; heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel. Through The Gospel Project® for Kids, kids and preschoolers will understand the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God’s story of redemption.
