Nominations are welcome through the month of October.
After the close of the nomination period, the board and elders will work together to review the nominations and reach out to potential candidates.
WHAT IS THE FUNCTION OF THE BOARD?
The board oversees the general decision-making, management, and business functions of the church.
HOW ARE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD SELECTED?
The board seeks members first based on biblical qualities including a personal relationship with Jesus
Christ. We seek members who are wholly committed to the mission of theAlley. We adhere to our
constitution by selecting members of the church in good standing. The board partners with the elders in
selecting new board members.
WHAT DO BOARD MEMBERS DO?
Board members meet monthly to manage the business of the church. This can include overseeing
finances, analyzing key decisions in the context of Biblical principles, and ensuring we are practicing
good stewardship principles. Board members also collaborate with the Pastor and Elders on matters of
casting vision and developing key strategies.
