And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. Hebrews 10:24-25

context for discipleship

The vision of theAlley’s home groups ministry is to make disciples by connecting people to each other and to the Lord through fellowship, prayer and Discovery Bible Studies. The goal is that every adult who desires to be in a home group will have that opportunity.

One of the ways we live out discipleship at theAlley is through Home Groups and Recovery Groups. We believe Home Groups and Recovery Groups are a powerful context where discipleship happens.

Bill & Tina Wallace | Home Groups Coordinators

In our HOME groups people gather regularly to break bread, study scripture, fellowship and pray as a means of pursuing spiritual growth and healthy relationships together.

Home groups will be offered by semester with Classes in the fall and in the spring. The purpose of home groups will be to disciple each other while potentially meeting new people. Each group will last 10-12 weeks, have trained leaders and a focus towards a specific topic.

Are you interested in leading a home group? If so, what topic would you like to lead? Day, time and location to meet?  »
