FAMILY MINISTRY

THESE WORDS I AM COMMANDING YOU TODAY ARE TO BE UPON YOUR HEARTS. AND YOU SHALL TEACH THEM DILIGENTLY TO YOUR CHILDREN AND SPEAK OF THEM WHEN YOU SIT IN YOUR HOUSE AND WHEN YOU WALK ALONG THE ROAD, WHEN YOU LIE DOWN AND WHEN YOU GET UP.

(DEUTERONOMY 6:6-7)

PARTNERING WITH PARENTS

Because we believe that Scripture is clear that parents are the primary disciple-makers in the lives of their children, our hope is to partner with parents in their pursuit of this mission, coming alongside them in the discipleship process.

Family Worship

We encourage families to worship together during our weekend services. This is especially true for middle school and high school students, as we hope to integrate them into the life of the church where they can live out our mission with their parents and other adults.

Time, Moments and Milestones

As a way to come alongside parents and help them live out their call to make disciples of their children, we’ve created a framework for family discipleship: time, moments and milestones. This language provides a clear philosophy and strategy for discipleship in the home, encouraging and empowering parents to raise up a new generation of believers within our church.

ALLEYNursery (birth-2yrs)

Nursery:

In the summertime, the nursery is available for families to use but it is not staffed with volunteers.

Summertime AlleyKids (PreK– Grade 5)

We love kids and it’s our calling to guide and teach them as they grow to Follow Jesus and Live Love. We believe that EVERY HOME IS A CHURCH and we want to equip both parents and children to love and learn the Word together.

During the summer, AlleyKids  meet in the PreK Room. (Important note: children must be potty trained before they can participate in our AlleyKids classes)

Curriculum: The ABCs of God

Each week the kids learn attributes and names of God. Check out theVibe to see which attributes will be given for the week.
